November 24th-26th The Burnaby Arts Council presents the annual Deer Lake Winter Festival at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. Shop from over 40+ local B.C. artisans at this seasonal market, juried to ensure the highest quality handcrafted creations. We’ll be introducing a diverse mix of artisans, from glass blowers, sculptors, and patissiers, to jam makers, jewelers, fashion designers, and many more. Craft and community are the heart of this festival, and this is your opportunity to get to know each artisan and the story behind their work.
At the BAC, we’re inspired by the unique identity carved out by the Burnaby arts community, and we strive to amplify their stories. Proceeds from the Deer Lake Winter Festival support the BAC’s year-round efforts to promote and expand the arts throughout Burnaby.
This family-friendly winter shopping extravaganza is free admission, and features entertainment from local performers.
