Presented in collaboration with the Vancouver Classic Guitar Society and hosted by the Burnaby Arts Council at The DLG, the VCGFest is delighted to offer two free outdoor performances – weather permitting. This year’s festival running from August 15th – 20th, is designed as an intimate, intensive learning experience. Registration is limited to just 20 students to ensure a more personalized environment. VCGFest is a unique opportunity for guitarists of all levels to participate in masterclasses, workshops, guitar orchestra, and a participants’ concert and to be inspired by faculty concerts by Jorge Caballero, Michael Kolk, Alec Pearson and Luis Medina. Join us on the above dates for free classic guitar concerts in our yard. These events are free and drop-ins are welcome.
